The GREENBACK FUND is an affordable dollar investment option that can potentially provide higher returns at moderate price volatilities.


The fund aims to maximize the investor's yield by taking opportunities in varying terms of dollar-denominated fixed income outlets.


Description: An income-oriented medium term dollar-denominated bond fund created for the purpose of facilitating the investment and portfolio management through the pooling of investible funds in a portfolio of bonds and other similar fixed-income securities with portfolio duration which may exceed one year.

  • US Dollar-denominated deposits
  • ST-LT US$ fixed income securities
  • Other tradable securities

Investment Horizon: The mandate of the fund limits the Macaulay duration up to 5 years.


Valuation: Marked-to-Market


Minimum Initial Participation: US $1,000, Minimum Additional Participation is $500


Maintaining Balance: US$1,000.00


Holding Period: 45 banking days; Withdrawals made before the 45-banking day holding period shall be subject to the early redemption penalty fees of 0.25% of the NAV.


Redemption: Next banking day from date of redemption


Trust Fee*: 1.5% p.a. of the funds NAV
